As you can see, it took me all week to write the post tour report after returning to Seattle a week ago. It's Sunday night/Mon. morning, about 1am, in Seattle...the ground is a bit damp, but you could go outside without a jacket and be OK. I went to see Tegan & Sarah at Neumo's...they were outstanding live, loved 'em. Darius, Posies drummer you all (or soon will) know and love, was working across the street at the fabled Comet Tavern...I stopped in for about 1/2 a glass of white wine...before the T&S show...after said bye and drove home, listening to music and driving thru the trees. I don't get a lot of these moments, I miss them, its true. I'm going to read the New York Times and go to bed before the bars are even closed...I mowed my *lawn* today fer goawdsake. That is called not being on tour...listening to KEXP, late night jazz show, very good live track by Nils Petter Molvaer...I'm going to email some music to a friend in NY to use in a short film and call it g'night...
